Why reusable plastic?

Many plastic alternatives are marketed as biodegradable or compostable.The challenge is that these materials often require specific conditions or facilities to break down properly, and those facilities aren’t always available.At Garbag, we’re focused on a simpler approach:Reuse first. Recycle later.Every Garbag is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic and designed to be used again and again before being recycled at end of life.We believe the most sustainable bag is one that doesn’t need to be replaced after a single use.As composting infrastructure improves and becomes more widely available, compostable solutions may become a practical option. Until then, we believe reusing and recycling existing materials is the best place to start.
